ABOUT

 LENA OH STUDIO

A number of years ago I took a pottery wheel class with a friend and fell in love. Handling clay and making something with my hands was fantastic. I felt connected to something beyond myself. It was awesome. When I no longer had studio and kiln access due to the pandemic, I turned to what I did have: a dining room table and an oven. In an attempt to reclaim the power of creation and in a desire to explore self expression with the resources I had, I discovered Polymer Clay and I fell in love all over again.

I have always enjoyed design and grew up exploring garage sales, thrift shops, and flea markets. My home and my work is peppered with that same vintage and earthly influence. Mid-century patterns and materials inspire me and influence the color palettes, designs, and canes used in my work.

LENA OH STUDIO has allowed me to embrace what I love and share that with others. Creating a small piece of art that people can incorporate into their own sense of self and style is the most rewarding thing I can imagine.
